Overview
I built Oren because my "to read" pile kept growing while my "finished" pile stayed the same. Every reading app I tried was great at helping me collect books, and terrible at helping me actually read them.
So I flipped the idea. Oren isn't about cataloging your library. It's about building the habit of opening a book every single day.
A few things that make it different:

If the philosophy is less screen time, does this means the app is not meant for people using eBook reader? 😃Anyway, I prefer eBook and I finished all the books I started so far, except Ulysses. That one is so difficult to read, but I will still not give up. Maybe this app will help.

this is exactly the app I didn't know I needed 😅 my shelf is basically a graveyard of half-read books. the built-in timer + streaks combo is genius, that's the only thing that's ever kept me consistent. and zero social feed? instant yes, that's usually what eats my reading time. congrats on the launch, downloading now 👏 mine's Thinking, Fast and Slow… been on chapter 3 since forever 😂

Oren has completely changed how I read. 😃 Instead of hoarding books I never finish, the streak builder and session timer, actually get me to open a book every day. The dashboard is clean and calm with no social feed noise to distract me, so it’s just me and my pages. 👍🏻
