Is local generation really free?

Yes. Once installed, local generation runs entirely on your own GPU. No per-image fees and no API charges, so generate as much as you like.

What are the system requirements?

SimpliGen runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Cloud generation works on any modern machine with no GPU required. For local generation you need an NVIDIA RTX 20-series card or newer with 16GB of system RAM (GTX 10-series and older cards are not supported by the engine's PyTorch build). 8GB of VRAM covers image presets and the lighter video presets; video presets and larger models are happier with 12 to 16GB+. Models are large, so keep around 30GB+ of free disk space, ideally on an SSD. macOS and Linux aren't supported yet.
